You split the twig, and you waritu in Germanic,
( to scratch lines with a knife),

take care that your cross the nerves of the wood, not follow them, or your rune will be ruined.
So your letters will be ... not very round..
further more, take care not to over do it, never write the same letter twice in a row never mind that second letter would be in the next word.. They'll figure it out alright.
If possible combine letters, make one out of two, that's even better.
